I was contacted about 4 years after this client had purchased another commission from me. She lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, and has a view of "Pinnacle Mountain" from her bathroom window. We talked about getting pictures of the mountain from her. She wanted an oil painting 42 x 48 that was going to hang above her entrance opening to her dining-room. One thing she kept telling me was how the mountain looked like fire. That told me it was a sunset scene. I had to do a lot of research to find pictures of a sunset view that pleased me so I could turn her pictures into a sunset scene.
